Built with AI. Backed by people.
Turn your ideas into working software, improve the systems you depend on and simplify everyday work. Our AI-assisted engineering combines human expertise, a named person accountable for delivery, and support beyond launch.

An idea, manual work to automate, an ageing system, or extra engineering capacity.
AI-assisted engineering, with a named person checking every change before it goes live.
The requirement, the tests, the review and the approval behind each release.
We deploy and support what we build, then keep improving it.
Automate manual work, modernise ageing systems, or connect processes that do not talk to each other. Four ways to work with us.
Your first product. A manual process ready to automate. A system you’ve outgrown. We design, build and run the solution.
Move beyond ageing software and the disconnected workarounds around it. We build its replacement, migrate your data and help your team make the move.
We learn your system, add tests and make carefully reviewed improvements. Practical progress without starting from scratch.
AI-powered engineering that works in your tools and on your backlog. Changes are tested and reviewed, with your team approving what goes live.
Whichever service you choose, one named person on our team owns delivery, every change is tested and recorded before it goes live, and you agree what gets released.
An agreed route for fixes and improvements after go-live, from our AI-supported service desk for the systems we build and run, to working inside your own arrangements when we add capacity to your team.
Our AI-powered software factory plans, builds and tests the work. A named person signs off each step, so you can show what happened and why.
We agree and record what the software must do, so success is defined upfront. AI agents plan, build and test against that brief, with a person overseeing every step.
For you: the cost, the timeline and what done looks like, agreed before work starts.
Every change is tested, checked for security and signed off, and we can prove the version that goes live is the one that was tested and approved. A named member of our team owns delivery, with releases agreed with you.
For you: you know who owns delivery, and you talk to the agents yourself, every time round the cycle.
Our AI-supported service desk sorts, fixes and deploys from day one, with the same checks and approvals that got you live. Talk to the agents directly, spoken or written, to raise a request or ask what’s happening.
For you: an agreed route for fixes and improvements, and agents you can talk to, from day one.
What happens in live use shapes what we build next. We monitor continuously, with a recovery plan ready, and if anything does go wrong we fix the cause, not just the symptom.
For you: a system that keeps getting better the longer it runs.
Decisions, evidence and change history stay with the system, so the next person can pick it up without starting from scratch. We keep improving for as long as you need us.
For you: staff changes don’t take the system’s history with them.
We’re helping organisations simplify everyday work, modernise established systems and create better digital experiences, combining AI-assisted engineering, practical AI capabilities and a named person accountable for delivery.
We’re developing bespoke software to simplify complex costing and everyday workflows. AI supports development, testing and refinement, with our team shaping the solution around how the business works and reviewing changes throughout.
We’re supporting the move and modernisation of an established platform, using AI-assisted engineering to develop and test changes. Our team guides the transition, with careful attention to existing data, continuity of service and the charity’s future needs.
We’ve developed a mobile app and AI-enabled technology to transform how everyday work is managed. AI helps streamline manual administration, triage incoming requests and prioritise the backlog, helping the team focus on what needs attention next. Built around mobile use, the solution makes these capabilities accessible on the move.
Different organisations. Individual solutions. The same commitment. Software shaped around each customer’s needs, with clear accountability and support as those needs evolve. Built with AI. Backed by people.
Deep experience across the public and private sector, from start-ups and chief technology roles to product leadership and selling at scale.

Two prior trade sales · £40m+ raised
After a successful career in education Hugh co-founded two software companies. The first was in education and the second provided AI solutions, including face recognition. He led each of them through to successful trade sales for shareholders. The cumulative sums raised, in today’s money, were over £40m. He understands the cycle of creating, funding and growing technology companies and ultimately achieving shareholder returns. This will be his third start-up.

Helped scale an AI business to £1bn+
Sam has thirteen years in software delivery and client-facing roles, ten of them at Atkins, Deloitte and BAE Systems serving the UK’s most secure government agency, translating client needs to developers. Since 2023 he has been senior product manager at an AI banking security company grown from a 2016 start-up to a valuation over £1bn, and has supported its sales overseas, seeing first-hand what it takes to scale an AI business at real pace.

30+ years selling into the public sector
Julie has spent over thirty years selling technology software into local government, including sixteen as an independent strategic government technology adviser. One of very few people to have worked both sides of the buying table, she knows the sector’s own systems, buyers and sales cycle end to end. Within large software corporations she has been instrumental across the end-to-end customer journey, from sales and marketing to customer success and digital transformation, most recently heading sales engineering at MRI Software.

30+ years in software engineering · legal tech SaaS growth
Lee has more than 30 years’ experience in software engineering. He began his career alongside Hugh at SIMS, the schools management system used across much of the UK, and later led AI strategy and engineering as chief technology officer at Aurora. He joined a legal technology SaaS company as its third team member and served as chief technology officer as it grew to 125 colleagues and 200 enterprise customers and raised $15 million in a Series A round. He brings that experience to building and running SigniFuse’s software factory.
Between them: over a century of combined experience across the public and private sector. We have founded and sold start-ups, held chief technology roles, led product and sold at scale, including two trade sales and an AI business scaled to a £1bn+ valuation. Each has done a version of this before.
